Ahmet Onder Oztarhan was born in 1972, Istanbul. Graduated from Sisli Terakki High School, he continued his undergraduate studies in Marketing and Business Administration at University of Massachusetts Amherst. He started his business career at his family company; Vepa Group which has played a value-added role in the development of Turkish retail sector by introducing global leading brands such as Estee Lauder Companies and Nike to the market. Starting out at Vepa Group’s Cosmetics category during 1996-2000, he then appointed as Vepa Sport Retail Director in 2000 and General Manager in 2002. He has been leading the company as the Chairman of Board of Directors since 2004 with a philosophy that emphasizes evolution, innovation, creativity and continuous quality improvement. This vision and management approach have resulted in achieving the “best distributor of the year” award in New Balance brand and in establishing the joint venture model with Shiseido Companies. Onder Oztarhan had been a board member at the United Brands Association during 2002-2005 and 2010-2012 terms. He is board member of Registered Trademarks Association for 2013-2015 term. He is the distributor of Worldwide brands in Women Clothing, Accessories and Shoes Sector (BCBG and LIU JO)
