Emrah Ünal started his university life with the Department of Economics at Bilkent University and then graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Marmara University. After starting his career as an Auditor at Deloitte Istanbul Office, he continued at KPMG Istanbul Office. He was later transferred to Philip Morris International as Internal Control and Risk Manager.
Emrah Ünal founded the Mazura Textile Products company while his career was continuing. Mazura continues to produce textile products for its customers in Türkiye, including Vakko, Beymen and Ramsey, with its facilities in Como, Italy, Bursa, Istanbul and China.
He also founded Design Market, Turkey’s largest designer collective. Design Market, which has 3500 designers, continues its retail journey with its team of 110 people.
In 2022, Emrah created the Depowork brand. With its 2200 m2 complex located in Zincirlikuyu, Istanbul, Depowork combines Office and Shared Office services with 190 personal storage areas and meets all the office and storage needs of companies and individuals at the same time. Emrah, who is actively progressing in business life with his own initiatives, also started his dream angel investment career in 2023. Emrah, who has made various investments in this context, is also an active mentor of İTÜ Çekirdek and TT Ventures. Emrah, who combines the commercial and management experiences he gained from his own ventures with his audit and risk management career, is a team player who is open to learning and investigative in angel investing.
