With over 25 years of professional and academic experience in information and communication technology law, policy and strategy, Yasin Beceni has advised leading companies in Türkiye and around the world on digital transformation, legal compliance and business strategy. More recently, he has been engaged in advisory, business development and product-focused entrepreneurial activities in green transformation, green finance and regulatory technologies. He mentors and invests as an angel investor in start-ups and scale-ups that create value through digital and green technologies.
Continuing his professional work at Beceni – Sevim Attorney Partnership (BTS&Partners), where he is founder and senior partner, Beceni also teaches in the Information and Technology Law program at Istanbul Bilgi University and the Data Analytics master’s program at Sabancı University, and contributes to academic work in Türkiye and abroad.
A member of leading business and civil society organizations such as DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board), the Turkish Services Exporters Association, the Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV), TEİD, AHK, ABFT, the British-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and IAPP, Yasin Beceni holds active roles in many institutions that contribute to the development of the ecosystem, notably as a Board Member of TBV, a member of the advisory boards of AITR and Blockchain Türkiye, a Board Member of Galatasaray Teknoloji A.Ş., and a supporter of the Networks of Centers (NoC) of academic centers on world technology law.
