Gökçe Kabatepe, the General Manager of Raiffeisen Investment Turkey since 2008, boasts a remarkable career in the investment banking industry. Prior to his current role, he managed the Investment Banking department of Raymond James Turkey from 2001 to 2008 and started his journey at Körfezbank in 1995.
Notably, between 1999 and 2001, Gökçe Kabatepe excelled in the Research Department of R.W. Pressprich in New York, leading investment banking teams in diverse sectors for financial advisory, IPO, and M&A projects. His advisory experience spans nearly 100 transactions totaling USD 30 billion.
Beyond his professional achievements, Gökçe actively serves as an angel investor, backing numerous companies in Turkey and abroad. He was among the earliest investors in Yemeksepeti, supporting its founders.
Gökçe Kabatepe holds an MBA from Yale University and another from the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
